چکیده
Background: To conserve the tooth structure, bonded restorations are popular nowadays. Bonding to enamel is predictable by acid-etch technique. However, bonding dentin remains a challenge. Aim: determine better agent between universal and total-etch agents based on shear bond strength using testing machine.
Methodology: Eighteen human permanent mandibular molars were sectioned longitudinally obtain thirty-six samples. Samples randomly divided into three groups according agent, Group A (Unbonded), B (Universal agent) which was again Subgroup B1 (Superficial dentin), B2 (Deep dentin) C (total-etch c1 ,Subgroup c2 dentin). Composite block built up samples mounted in acrylic resin. Thermocycling done then subjected Universal machine. Statistical Analysis: The data analysed One-way ANOVA Post hoc tests. Result: showed higher mean than at both superficial deep level. Conclusion: strengths of affected level i.e., dentin.

Evaluation of Shear Bond Strength of Newer Bonding Systems on Superficial and Deep Dentin
BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to compare the shear bond strength of nanocomposite resin to superficial dentin and deep dentin using two different dentin bonding systems. MATERIALS AND METHODS All teeth were sectioned at various levels (superficial dentin: Dentin within 0.5-1 mm of dentinoenamel junction; deep dentin: Dentin within 0.5 mm of the highest pulp horn) using a Carborundu...
